(Man stands - this is Hector - and he is wearing a memorable hat, which he takes off and bows with to the crowd)

HECTOR -  I have a fantasy....

       (The others protest)

JEANNIE -  You can say whatever you want here, you know that, but let's stay within the realm of....how can I put it politely?

GEMMA- Normal?

MATTIE -  Not with Hector!

HECTOR -  Do not worry my friends, this is a fantasy of the caregiving kind....

FRANK LYN -  Even worse!

(They all laugh and Franklin puts the hat back on)

HECTOR -  In my fantasy, all of us caregivers are away on vacation...

JEANNIE -  Now that is some fantasy!

GEMMA -  And how does this happen?

HECTOR -  Not sure, maybe the aliens have pity on us and take us away to a giant casino resort somewhere in a galaxy far away....

(He nods to Gemma and she shakes her head)

HECTOR -  And all of the patients, and I mean ALL, start walking ....

FRANKLIN -  That's a real fantasy!

HECTOR -  And they go to.....Washington, D.C.!

        (The others ooh and ah)

HECTOR -  And after a tiny sidetrip to the Washington Memorial...

(Some have been there, express admiration)

HECTOR -  They go to the Congress.....and the President is making a speech, and they shuffle in and they.....protest the way caregivers are treated!

         (The others cheer)

HECTOR -  And then.....they eat all the brains!

(They laugh and cheer, as it quiets, Franklin is troubled)

FRANKLIN -  There's one problem...

GEMMA-  One?

FRANKLIN -  If they need brains to survive, our patients will all die!

          (The others applaud)

HECTOR -  Try not to think about this too much.....it's just a fantasy...

JEANNIE -  NOT think about it - I think it's gonna be my nightmare!

GEMMA -  And how do you figure that all this will happen?

HECTOR -  Hey,  maybe my secret power is when I think of something, I can make it happen!

FRANKLIN -  I can see him now in one of the comics - Fantasyman!

(The others stand and cheer, he bows, lights down, end of scene - or maybe a song next?)
