Based on a true story which everyone with a computer will understand......

(Disheveled, dismayed and dumbfounded, the actor enters, looks around wildly.)
Due to circumstances beyond our control, due to a horrible event that has reduced the author to a blubbering ball of spit.....in other words, due to a computer shutdown......everything has been cancelled!
(They run offstage gibbering unintelligibly......what happens when we depend on technology instead of pencil and paper. But not to worry, tomorrow - with the help of magic and the amazing computer repair people -all will be restored - and the monologue will again be longer than one sentence!)
