(Isaac has listened to Ariana complain about how long she has studied math - and how she hates it. -Day # 804 - He shakes his head)
Okay, I guess you may have a point, but maybe, just maybe... I can let you see how amazing numbers are.....when I was much younger, my mom tried to get me into the Bible, but, surprisingly enough, the only book I liked was, can you guess?
Numbers!
I had just learned about the idea of infinity, and I was still floating! When you think about it, even a little, you can't think about it anymore because it's, it's unending! Millions, billions, googles of numbers!
And it's all based on .....plus one. You add one and you keep adding, and it never stops. Never ends. Infinity! And this idea has been here....since we could figure it out. And so....as long as there are numbers.....there is infinity......you could depend on numbers...the fact there was always another one...it was...reassuring.......
This world is finite. Everything has a beginning.....and an end. But numbers! Hey! They never end! .......In a world of things that end....like friendships when the person moves away, like marriages.when your parents don't get along...like your favorite dog...when it....dies.....the fact that you can imagine there is no end......that was something...very comforting....
(Lights down. End of scene)
