(Actor emerges covered in technology, plays with it throughout)
Who here likes that movie Terminator? You know, the one where the machines take over the earth?
Come on! Who hasn't copied.... (Imitates Arnold) I'll be back!
And the discussions from people about how the machines will become evil, and they will become our masters, and we will be their slaves? It's an old plot, one that has been used for ages, but Terminator made it seem almost real! there was even a cartoon knock-off for kids, starring guinea pigs! So don't tell me you don't know what I'm talking about- face it! There is a fear of zombies, and vampires, but the fear of the machines, for most people, that is really scary.
But don't worry so much!
There's really nothing to worry about....pay attention and take my word for it, Terminator was a movie!
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)
And besides.....you didn't even realize......the machines have already taken over!
(Hugs all the tech as exits into a brave old world)
