Words cannot capture how I feel right now because you are on your feet! Screaming! Yelling! Stomping!
I bask in your adoration! I am awash in your flood of affection!
(Smile fades)
Well, actually not. You don't really love me, do you? Not the person who is afraid to speak in public without a few drinks. Not the person who yells at the kids if they wake me up before noon to play with them.....You don't care about the human who mistreats everyone around because you all love the me that is......I can barely say the words.....You are loving the part of me...better known as....
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)
Except, maybe.... I'm not better ......
(Exits into a future with unpleasant social media)
