(Franklin looks at his watch and raises his arms)
Okay, my friends! Much as we would rather stay here, I'm afraid it's time to gather up ourselves - and our donuts - and head back to our homes.
(Some groans are heard)
I hear those groans, but please remember, there is always next week! Where we can trade more war stories.....and laugh together and cry together, and face our fantastic futures together. Because, of all the anonymous groups there are....Alcoholics, Narcotics, Overeaters.....no matter what we complain about....and boy, do we know how to complain, right?
(The others cheer)
What separates us from the other anonymouses....is the fact that they all want to get well, and we are.....we are happy helping others to get well. And that is big difference!
Remember, we are the growing force, the future of this country, this world. We are an an army, an invisible army of helping hands. When a person needs assistance, suddenly there is at least one of us created! We are indispensible! We are unbelievably resiliant! We are indestructible! We are....tired. But most of all, although we may stagger, although we may be exhausted, although we may want to give up......the fact is that we are undefeatable.....we will never give up ......as long as our loved ones need us. We will keep going in the face of all adversity because we know......we'd rather be taking of someone, than someone taking care of us......
So, let's all join hands and say our prayer......
(The others stand and form a circle with the outer members reaching out to the audience)
I see the end of the play with the caregivers coming into the audience, handing out information on how to help caregivers.

God grant me the serenity to accept the
things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can - and that includes Depends!..... and....... the
wisdom to know the difference.
A......men!!!!!!
(The group lifts their hands as the lights shine bright, then blackout. The end.)
I see the end of the play with the caregivers coming into the audience, handing out information on how to help caregivers.

I like the revision. This play needs to be produced!
