Monologue Mania Day #  1709 The Biggest Scare by Janet S. Tiger (c) Oct. 21,  2018

(Part of  the countdown for Halloween - only this is..... the real scary stuff)

                                      The Biggest Scare
                                                 (for Halloween)

(Actor shuffles onto the stage holding a basket)

Halloween is the most scary night of the year!  People always ask why it's scary - whether it's all the ghosts and goblins, vampires and zombies.....but for me, it's something very close to home....

         (Holds up the basket)

This!  The candy!  Oh, my God, every year the same frightening question- what will happen....if I run out of candy!

(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)

Of course, I already know the answer.....

(Takes a candy and eats it....smiles and turns off the lights)
