( Ariana and Isaac are talking after the Academic League final match)

ISAAC - (Still trying to understand everything)  So, I guess there's not much future for us?

         (Ariana shakes her head)

ISAAC -  What about...maybe, in a few years?  After college?  Maybe you'd get bored with this kind of work....

ARIANA -  (Gentle)  Never

ISAAC -  I thought you said never was 10 years and three months...

ARIANA -  I guess this is a right now kind of never.......

ISAAC -  (Shaking his head in disbelief) anything you told me even close to the truth?

ARIANA -  Well,  that I can answer with a definite..... maybe...

ISAAC -  (A little bitter) So, it's all a joke to you?

ARIANA -  Can you understand this....if you didn't mean anything to me.....I would've left right after the would have gotten the same story the rest of the school did......but I didn't want to leave it like that......that's why I told them I had to tell you something, otherwise you would go looking for me, and that isn't good......for anyone......

ISAAC -  Do you even  know what the truth is anymore?

ARIANA -  Oh, I know the truth.....better than you do......but see there's the difference .....I was sure you wouldn't snitch....... but you weren't sure that I wasn't going to cheat's a big difference.....

ISAAC - How can you be so sure of yourself?

            (She turns away)

ISAAC -  And how could you be so sure...... I wouldn't tell?

ARIANA - (Makes a decision)   Because I kissed you enough times to know......... to know that you cared enough for me not to tell.......and that.....(sighs) I care enough not to walk away leaving you hanging in the wind......

(All he hears is the kissing part and now is even more confused - and this will be continued on another post)
