Monologue Mania Day # 1664 Dear Nanny Fine... by Janet S. Tiger (c) Sept. 6  2018

                   Dear Nanny Fine....

                                           by Janet S. Tiger

    (Actress enters holding a letter)

(Reading in a heavy New York accent)  Dear Nanny Fine, I mean, Fran Drescher.....

I will not bore you by telling you that I LOVE your show, which I put in the
present tense because it will always be alive, at least in reruns on my local
You Watch Too Much TV TV Channel.......

I just want you to know that it made me so happy to see that you can have
another reunion, only this time with an actress that could play your daughter-
and she has an accent, too!  Okay, it's an Israeli accent, but, hey, still Jewish!

As you might have guessed, your new daughter could be....Wonder Woman!
Okay, it's Gal Gadot, but in my heart, you will always be wonder women to me!

So please, bring back the Nanny!  With Gal - and please.....Mr. Sheffield!

(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)

And if you don't answer this letter and do the reunion, you are dead to me...

(As she exits, we hear...'Dear Sally Field......)
