(The writer comes out.....okay it is me!)
For those following these monologues for awhile, the holidays are a special time for my characters! I have done monologues about many different special days throughout the year - religious, secular, and....unusual. Today is one of the unusual variety - because it is....drumroll please! World Nutella Day! (My friends are nodding - they are aware of my affinity for.....nutty.)

so, because I am tired, and because I have to be up early, and because I am trying to finish a play for a reading in ten days.......I ask for all to please forgive this brevity..
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back and I smile)
......but also, please celebrate by having some nutella!
(I exit to a holiday of nutty chocolate)
