Monologue Mania Day # 1490 The Ides of Time Marching on.....by Janet S. Tiger (c) March 15, 2018
Beware the Ides of March...when you have a computer.
Am posting this monologue - hopefully it will post! - as I have one computer that just ended up in the repair shop, and this one, my husband's, is having trouble staying connected to the Internet! The Ides.....Beware the Ides of March....

(The actor holds a computer like a baby)
There, there, everything will be all right. We are never more aware of time than when we have a baby to take care of.....or if someone is not well.
So when a computer is sick.....it is as if all these elements combine to an imperfect storm! Whereas in another time, we took days to get a letter or waited for hours to speak to a person, now if the email is seconds late, we are worried!
What is wrong? Is the earth coming to an end?
Yes, when the computer is down.....it is.....
But it isn't, so please take a moment to count the blessings of life B.C. - Before computer.
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)
And then say a prayer my computer gets well fast!
