(Teenage girl comes out, she is wearing a T-shirt, and both her arms are bandaged.)

Hey, good to see you, too.  Yeah, I had to miss a coupla weeks of class.  Well, maybe 'miss' is too strong a word.......(laughs, listens, more serious)  ...Yeah....I'm...ok. (Not too sure)  I guess.

       (Looks at her arms)

Yeah, I was in a fight...you noticed, huh.....yeah, it was....bad.  No, not a knife, a razor.....sharp.....bloody......I had to fight hard....I almost .....lost...almost couldn't come back to school....

       (Listens)

Who did I fight with - boy or girl?

       (Smiles)

It was .......a girl....

       (Listens)

I won, I guess.....I'm still alive, right?  That's winning...I think.........I hope I can....win next time.....
(listens)  Yeah, it was someone I knew........

(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)

You see, the girl was.....me.....

(Holds her arms and rubs the bandages as she exits, hopefully to a better time)
