(The man comes onstage with a limp, he is tired, and he sits heavily)
There, I made it. Just like a baby, every step is an adventure. Only a baby goes forward, and I go backwards.....c'est la vie. C'est la ....morte.....Not L'more.....but mort...as in death.
But let's not get too philosophical......not enough time for that.....my question for the Senior Channel is very simple.....what is the age of consent?
Before you answer, let me tell you that when I was a kid, the age of consent for ....well, you know......was whenever you could get someone to consent. Today, I have a grandchild who started .....you know....when she was twelve. Her choice. Not a great, since she had three kids by the time she was 18, but since none of the boys were that much older than her, no one got charged.......funny, not ha-ha, just funny, because in my day, girls who did that were called all kinds of names......now, they have TV shows about them. Go figure.
This is still my question - what is the age of consent? When do you get to choose what you are going to do with your own body? When do you get to say.....now?
And when do you get to say.......enough........
(He stands, turns to leave, stops,looks back)
Sorry, I just gotta say it.......Thaaaaat's all folks!
