(Man enters, dressed royally, holding a small tin)
My mother wanted me to be a doctor.....but I hated the sight of blood.....
(He now holds the tin lovingly)
Now this, this is what makes me happy.....
(He now opens the tin with delight)
This is it! And I have it!
(Removes small spoon from pocket, dips into the tin)
Mmmmm....the very best! Caviar! And for those who know, caviar is the food of kings! And why not? If you're going to eat something, it might as well be the very best!
(Takes another bite, does a little dance)
Who cares that this delicious delicacy is made out of the eggs of wild sturgeon.....
all you need to know is that kings eat this caviar - and that is why today we celebrate ......National Caviar Day!
(Has more, gets very happy, dancing wildly)
The first time I tasted this, I knew....so every July 18th, I encourage people to choose what they love!
(He holds up the tin, now empty, and put his face near, taking a large sniff)
Enjoy!
(He turns to leave, stops, looks back)
You only live once, and for my mother, I may not have become a surgeon, at least I am.....the King of Sturgeon-which I call..... the Eggs of Kings!
(He eggs -its......sorry, just like when someone offers caviar, I couldn't resist!)
