Over.
It's over.
There are times when you have to be told when it's over, but sometimes you just know.....when....it's finished.
There is a feeling of completion, or maybe, just abandoning......
All the energy, all the time, all the thinking about the time, all the more time, then...time's up...on to the next......
When are we done?
Really.....do we ever know?
Some might argue that death is when we are really finished, but as I age, and approach that final curtain.....I'm not sure anymore.
Is Shakespeare finished?
Is Aristophanes?
And what about the first number one on the New York Times Best Seller list - you know it - the Bible! Is God done?

Done.
The printer presses the button and the presses roll
The final cut is made, and the film heads off to the theaters.
The final cut is made, and the film heads off to the theaters.
The job is finished, the mistakes are sealed....or are they?
Can we come back and fix the wrong word on page 92? Can the director cut more?
Can we unring the bell? Remember the words we forgot to say in Act 2 Scene 3?
Can we unring the bell? Remember the words we forgot to say in Act 2 Scene 3?
Can we return to the school and apologize to the person we bullied?
Maybe...
We can never get back the moments affected by the mistakes.
It's never just about the one thing, it's about something else. Someone else that is finished, someone we loved, someone who is gone....for now at least. Until a cure arises.....or the coffin fills.

Over....over easy. Make over. Over again. Over age.....or is that overage......over there.....it's not over till it's over.....or is it?
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)
Over and out.
Over and out.
