(Woman comes out wearing sunglasses, takes them off, examines them)
I like these sunglasses.  I mean, they're not the only sunglasses I ever had.  When I was younger, I had a lotta sunglasses.  Sometimes they'd get lost the same day I bought 'em.  How many pairs?  Who can remember that long ago!

Now these, I've had these a long, long time.....sometimes I've lost these sunglasses ..... it's very annoying when you can't find them fast.

Maybe I should not say lost...... misplaced is a better word because when something is lost it's really gone but I'm never really lost them completely.

I kind of knew they were just somewhere in some pocket falling down next to the bed when I was too lazy to put them where they belong.

And I missed them when I didn't have them.

One time, I got so annoyed when I couldn't find them, I got a replacement pair...... but it was never the same...... in fact it was just an imitation.......picked up quickly in some store..... some piece of dark lens to put over my eyes in an emergency.

But....somehow, I always knew they turn up each time. And they did ...but .... you know nothing is forever.

Things get lost for real.....or they really break......

And just like us maybe I shouldn't take them for granted when I have them because..... you never know which is the day they will get lost or broken forever. .....just like us.....

         (Exits .....still with sunglasses)
