(This man is older, but still looks vital.  He smiles, nods, slight European accent)

I am here today to thank those for the gifts I received as a boy, for the ones who changed my life forever.  Some people do not appreciate gifts, but me, I never forget!

I grew up in a small Hungarian town, we were not rich, so the chance to travel, ah, what an amazing thing to travel from a small place throughout Europe!

And all the transportation - free!  We got to see such beautiful countryside!  The weather, magnificent - and the different countries....how could a poor boy have had a chance to see all this?

Ah, the joy of thanking for a gift that is not expected!  I was young, but that does not mean I have forgotten a single thing.....from the moments I spent with my family, the people I met on the journeys, the things I learned....I will never, ever forget.  Free!

Of course, it was not completely without cost..... .  The cost was my (hard to remember) ... my....family's home, and everything we owned.....and.....(deep breath) my family .....and ....my health and...... my innocence......

(He turns to leave, stops, looks back)

...some might not appreciate what the Germans did for us in those years.....but me, I will never let these memories disappear.......I will never forget..........(Laughs) And some people say there's no such thing as a free ride......

         (He exits)
