(The man is wrapped in a blanket - he is furious)
You think I don't know what you've been doing? You think because I'm asleep you can hide from ME? I have ways.....ways of finding out what's been going on behind my back......in front of my back!
The time is up my dear......I am ripping the covers off your stealing and cheating ways! And don't try to deny it - I've got the proof.....right here....thanks to modern technology!
(He holds up a pen and waves it)
Nineteen ninety-five - and free shipping! That's right....it looks like a pen, but really, it's an invention James Bond would have been proud to use.......I turned it on for the last week, and look what it has revealed......
(He clicks the pen)
See? There on your phone? I've sent the video......now the whole world can the truth about you! And what you do! This is the definitive proof I've needed! To show what I have suspected for years is true -
(He clicks the pen with a flourish)
And until you stop......until you change your cheating ways......I am sleeping in the other room!
(He turns to leave, stops, looks back)
I always knew it.....I knew that YOU were the one....stealing the covers!
(He exits - finally - to a night of warmth)
