Accident

(Actor stumbles in, is shaking)
Oh, my God! Oh, my God! I can't believe what just happened!
I'm not used to driving in the rain, and I saw the stop sign, I did! And I put my foot on the brake...
(Illustrates)
And the car started to stop....it did! And I thought everything was fine, but then....it didn't stop! It felt like everything was in slow motion! And I was just moving into the intersection! And I couldn't see the other car coming right at me...and they probably couldn't see me either, because it was raining in sheets....and then....
(Smacks hands together)
Bam! It felt like.....well....I don't know.....it felt like......smash! I never been in an accident before, you know, so I guess this is the first time.....
(Takes a deep breath)
Accidents......no one was hurt......just some old tree.....and my new car! but me......
(Shakes arms and legs)
I'm ok, I guess.......accidents.......one little mistake.....that can change your life....forever......one match not burned out, one door left open.....one one word someone isn't supposed to overhear
(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)
and me......the accident that happens when.....one damn sperm that swims too fast......
(Exits....maybe not such an accident)
