I haven't slept in days.....or have I? The dream is like....like those commercials where just when you think it's over and the show is coming back on.....they say.....(Booms) BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
That's the way it is with this dream. It won't stop. I get up to go to the bathroom, and then I fall back asleep......and it's like on pause.....the dream continues.......but I'm not asleep, or am I? I read where the aborigines in Australia train their children to fall into dreams, that dreams are the reality......but how do we know? I got into the elevator and it goes down, and above me, I hear the bomb go off. I look at my cell phone.....
(Takes out phone ...is horrified)
It's already on the news! On Facebook! And the ones I don't even remember their names...Instapintagram! I missed the whole thing and I'm falling down the elevator shaft and the explosion is following me.....
(The elevator 'lands' and the actor jumps)
And then I....don't wake up! I just feel the building disintegrating! And I have to get out! And I do! And then.....it keeps going......and I can't get back to sleep......am I awake or am I dreaming? Why did I survive? (In anguish) Why can't I sleep?
But maybe, just maybe.....if you can't go to sleep....it's because you're awake in someone else's dream...
(Exits. Or do they?....The actor enters......)
