(The woman is older, but in a beautiful whitish dress with veil as she comes onstage.)

Yes, my dear, I am ready....

(She whirls around, showing off the dress)

Thank you.....I just couldn't go with that white dress we looked at.....not since Benjamin is going to be husband number 3.......

(She leans over, cups hand to ear)

Sorry, dear, don't have the hearing aids in just yet, I am enjoying some quiet before the ceremony!  There are going to be so many people, my ears just might explode!  (thinking) My goodness, who would have thought I'd be married before you!  My youngest grandchild!  And yet, the funny thing about life is......it's often funny!  But yes, I heard you.....I am prepared.......

Something old.....that would be me.....
Something new.....a new husband after 20 years without counts as new enough!
Something borrowed.....that would be time......since we are both on borrowed time at 91 years old!

And something blue.......

(She laughs and pulls up her dress and indicates her leg)

No dear, not a garter!  My blue is...... varicose veins!

(She laughs then tilts her head)

I never thought I could be this happy again......I only wish the same for you and that young man you've been seeing for, how many years?  Five?  One thing ....at my age, five weeks is forever!

(She turns to leave, stops, looks back, giggles)

Don't worry, Ben is prepared, too......just in case......he has some Viagra!

(She exits and we hear a faint 'I Could Have Danced All Night' as she goes)

Sweet! But I think I'd end the "something blue" line with the words "varicose veins"...just a thought..."Those blue lines? Those are varicose veins!"
