(Same actor from Day # 1631 enters, with a bigger sign that says Go Fund Me)

I am  truly disappointed!  Yesterday I came and requested help for a fellow human being!  A person who has made us laugh and entertained us for decades!  And yet, he makes just a few tiny mistakes - just like all of us do! - and that's it!

The money dries up!

And Charlie Sheen's last 10 million is going fast!  As we speak he needs to send $50,000 for one of his former wives - and it doesn't stop here!

There are agents to pay, doctors he needs for his treatment for AIDS!  Other people get this horrible diseases and they get lots of funding!

But Charlie,  noooooooo!  Nothing for Charlie!

All because of a few minor mishaps - like not telling sexual partners that he had AIDS, and saying mean things to his former friends on Three and a Half Men -where he earned only $ 2 million a show......oh the inequity is devastating!

Are we all so prejudiced?  Let he who is without sin cast that first stone!

So once again, I ask, no...I BEG!...you to help Charlie!

He needs it.......and I know you will feel good afterwards....Give till it hurts!  Or until you're broke.....but please GIVE!

         (Listens)

Why do I care?    We all make mistakes!  We are all...HUMAN!

      (Turns to leave, looks back)

And  I care because..... I get to keep 90% of what you send!   Thank you!

(Exits to a world that's filled with sheen)

(Actor enters, waves a Go Fund Me sign)

Hello all you viewers and people in the Internet world!

Have a new demand - request - for all of you about a dear friend of mine - we have never met but I know him for many years.

A man who made me laugh and someone who has fallen on hard times - who needs our help!

I am talking about the amazing, the marvelous, the formerly handsome and rich....Charlie Sheen!

He is down to his last 10...... million dollars!

He cannot pay his child support bills to his many former wives!

He owes money to his dealers - some of whom might try to collect in unpleasant ways!

Close to destitute, he is being forced to support himself by.....(gasps in horror)  signing autographs at shows!

He has been ostracized for his behavior over the years, but please remember, we all got a great deal of entertainment from his pecker-dillos!

So, please, reach deep!  Give what you can to Charlie Sheen!  Give until it hurts!  So he won't hurt anymore!

(Turns to leave, stops, looks back)

Remember....there but for the grace of God....go I......with only 10 million left.....

Monologue Mania Day # 1630 Angel by Janet S. Tiger (c) Aug. 3, 2018

Not sure where this will go, but it is from four years ago - and I'm still finishing the play!  I think towards the middle......

(Teenage girl comes onstage.  She is wearing something lovely, but not to focus on - she is the focus.  She is smiling and whirling around the stage.)

The day I became an angel was a REALLY, REALLY beautiful day.

It was right before spring break.  A Friday.

I thought it was going to be such a good weekend.  All my homework was done.

I had never been absent a day from school.

I was thinking about how I was going to spend some time with my boyfriend over the break.  I was even thinking about you know, maybe doing it with him.  My Mom and my stepdad were going away for their anniversary, so I just had to watch my baby sister.  I figured when she took a nap, that would be a good time.

He was a nice guy and I think I loved him.

I never thought the first time I would have sex would be like that.  And then he killed me.  (quickly)  Not my boyfriend, the guy.

I don't remember much about that.  I think it hurt for a minute and then I felt no pain.  And I could see everything, like I was flying.  I could see him.  But I didn't hate him, I just felt, nothing.   It was weird.

He buried me under some rocks under a beautiful blue sky. No, that's wrong.  He buried MY BODY under some rocks..... but I wasn't in the ground, I was up here, floating....(she illustrates)

(Sad)  I could see my parents and my stepdad and how sad they were.  I tried to talk to them, but they couldn't see me.  Sometimes, I felt like my mother could almost hear me, but..I don't know, maybe that was the hardest part of dying.

Then I realized that they may never find me, I mean what was left of me.

So I tried whispering into people's ears. giving them a hint what to do....where to look.

They even used special dogs, but the rains must've washed away my smell, so they were still miles away.

That's when I decided to stay around the guy who killed me, maybe I could be an angel for some of the other people he might wanna hurt.  I saw him following this one girl in a park, and I forgot about whispering, I screamed.

(She puts her hands to her mouth and yells)

Hey!  Watch out!  Look behind you!

          (Stops suddenly)

It's almost like she did hear me.....

He grabbed her and she scratched him.

Then she poked him in the eye!

But the next girl wasn't so lucky.

I told her not to get into the car.....but, she didn't listen.

I don't know where she went, I was hoping to have an angel club, but maybe I'm just around because I don't know, I have unfinished business.

So I decided that I would be his angel, whisper in his ear.  Because.....the funny thing is, once I died, I didn't hate him.  I just....... didn't want him to hurt anyone else.

(She reaches out her arm to the killer)

You don't have to do this, you know.

(She smiles as she watches him led away.)

You did the right thing......

         (She waves at him.)
The police have him now.  And maybe I helped save someone's life.  I don't know how, or why, but it feels good.  Actually I feel good all the time now.......it was a beautiful day, the day I died.

(She turns to go, looks back)

Just like today......

           (Exits, end of scene)

(Time - The future.....maybe the too-near future.
Woman in futuristic nurse-ish uniform enters, has mini computer in hand, she is pushing some buttons and shaking her head, very upset)

I am here because I am upset, no ....worried....no, horrified!  At the rate that we are losing our patients!  And I don't mean they have wandered away!

This week alone, 23 have checked out...permanently!

There are 17 who are in critical and the families are screaming!  And so now....I am screaming!

          (She screams to illustrate)

Do you people understand why you are here?  Do you remember your purpose?

We are funded by the number of LIVING people we take care of!

That means BREATHING!  It's not that hard!  They don't have to walk, they barely have to talk, and they can watch TV between meals!  This is what we pay you for!

        (Shakes her head)

We tried robots, God knows they are easier to deal with, but found that, just like with babies, older people do not respond well to robots, so we have, in our industry, the only reversal of hiring, in other words, we are hiring you humans to take care of other humans!

That would be you people!  You pitiful bunch of losers!

Don't you understand if all these old people die, there will be no jobs for YOU!

Do you understand?

         (Listens)

I DIDN'T HEAR YOU!

        (Listens and nods)

That's better.  Now how are we going to deal with these people in these beds?

We are going to TAKE OF THEM!  WATCH OUT THAT THEY ARE HANGING IN THERE!
And most of all, we are going to KEEP THEM ALIVE!

        (Takes a deep breath)

So what are we going to do now?   That's right!  Get out there and SMILE!

(She gives a big smile and exits)
